Mechanical & Fabrication

Assisted by the latest CNC machines and 2D/3D CAD drawing packages, we are able to offer a full process from cenceptual design through to maufacturing. By working with the other GJG departments (including, electronic, electrical, cable and panel building) our mechanical and fabrication department offers a full system design and manufacturing service under one roof. Fabrication

We have the ability to produce tailor-made fabrications in most materials, if it can be drawn then we are certain we can make it. We are able to progress with the project through all stages, from our close customer colabration during the initial concept phase through to final production and surface finishing. Oue fabrication facilities are extensive and include:

  (Including tradtional machining, folding, punching, laser and water cutting)
• Multi-Axis Milling Machining

• Welding and other material bonding methods

Mechatronics

Mechatronics is defined as multidisciplinary engineering system design, in that it is a synergistic combination of:

•   Electronic Engineering
•   Computer Engineering
•   Control Engineering
•   System Design Engineering
•   Optical Engineering

This synergistic combination is used to design and manufacture useful products. Our individual teams are able to come together in the same way to work on projects that require a certain amount of expertise from each specilisation, working in this way allows us to deliver projects across a range of diverse fields from a single source. CAD Drawing and 3D Modelling

GJG offer a multi-skilled, professional Design and Draughting service using the latest 2D and 3D software packages. We will work at almost any level to suit your requirements, providing cost-effective high quality CAD drawings. Panel Building

By working with our other teams (Please see our Software Development Team for PLC programming) we are able to provide a control requirement solution to a broad range of industries, including water treatment, bakeries, industrial control applications and environmental control and monitoring. Our panels are usually one-off and bespoke systems, from small panels with a few switches that can fit into one hand to huge cabinets, which incorporate PLC, HMI/MMI or touchscreen technology, each unit is designed and built to your exact requirements and specifications, we even have the capacity to overhauls or upgrade existing panels and units if if they have been damaged.
